Jason over at Proton Glass is back with another beautiful, functional art piece. The Mangrove is a 4.25" nature inspired, spoon style, hand pipe which contains a healthy mix of earthy greens which symbolizes health, new beginnings, and growth, browns which symbolizes warmth, security, and the Earth, alongside aquatic blues which promotes calmness, serenity, inspiration, wisdom, and stability, to pay homage to Mother Earth herself.
This piece features an elevated left-sided carb, a deep bowl whose pattern gently glides down its contours and grooves stretching its innately circular design into beautifully oblong organic shapes, a bubbled mouthpiece, and 3, three-dimensional glass beads containing various shades for amber, brown, blue, and sliver fuming that gradually increase in size from one to the next on the left side of the bowl next to the carb.
On the right side of the bowl there are 3 more three-dimensional glass beads gradually increasing in size from one the next. The first two beads (the sm and md beads) are the same color blue as the entire stem of the pipe and the final and largest bead is clear with a thick white and blue swirl throughout. The Piece also contains a secondary negative glass bead circular dot design on the head of the bowl as well as the bubbled up mouthpiece.
This hand pipe is made out of a durable borosilicate material that is strong enough to withstand the application of heat without degrading and causing related damage.
This boi is a little bit on the chonkier side so he would be better suited towards the stationary lifestyle rather than an active on-the-go kind however, if you do find that you are an active and on-the-go kind of person and would really like to bring your new baby along, Stay Woke does also offer a selection of carrying cases made to make traveling with your glass pieces a breeze. These cases offer ample space to accommodate a range of sizes (or multiple smaller pieces) with general, mounted, thick padding (as opposed to specifically molded padding, which is only good for one specific model and size and nothing else) to keep your pieces locked securely in their place within the case once you close it and zip it shut to ensure it stays closed until you decide you're ready to unzip it for use.
